At United Infusion, we follow a comprehensive refurbishing process for hospital beds to help ensure they operate safely and reliably. Through this systematic process, hospital beds are given a new lease on life, providing comfort and support to patients while promoting sustainability and cost-effectiveness in healthcare facilities.
Below are the key steps of our refurbishing process:
2. Cleaning & Disinfection
Once disassembled, every part of the bed goes through a thorough cleaning and disinfection process to help ensure a hygienic and sanitized surface.
3. Sanding
The bed is taken to the sanding booth, where it is sanded down to create a smooth and even surface for refinishing.
4. Rail Preparation
The bed rails are stripped, painted, and left to dry. New stickers are then added to improve appearance and functionality.
5. Painting & Finishing
The bed and its components are carefully taped off for the paint booth. The rails and bed frame then receive a fresh coat of paint to restore their original or updated color. After drying, all parts are stacked and packed, and new wheels and casters are installed for smooth mobility.
6. Reassembly & Final Quality Check
All electronics and components are reinstalled into the bed frame to restore full functionality. A final quality check is then completed to confirm the bed meets required standards before it is shipped or placed into warehouse backstock.
